INK FLEXO PRINTERS

Main content
There are many types of ink pumps available today, but centrifugal and peristaltic pumps are more commonly used.
Peristaltic pumps are used for short runs that are easy to clean and replace. They do not require much maintenance but the ink circulation is not good. The centrifugal pump in common use today, it is used for long print runs, requires less maintenance and for better ink circulation.
Regardless of the pump used, the following should be observed:
    - If using solvent inks, the pump must have a separator for different types of solvent
    - Pumps must be designed with materials that are similar to the ink composition.
    - Using a water-based title, the pump must be anti-rust.

    - The ink return tube must be soaked in the tank, the lower the ink as possible, always below the ink surface. This avoids foam in the ink pump.
    - The pump can transmit the required ink flow with a wide range of push viscosity and sweep speed, the more universal the pump is possible.
It should be easy to clean and must not have internal surfaces that store dry ink. The ink push system must have a self-discharge mode when the pump is disconnected or the residue will increase and make cleaning more difficult.
Ink may be deposited in the cartridge yet so solvent additives must be mixed thoroughly and quickly before circulating to the print. If using pistong pump, screw pump, peristaltic pump or diaphragm pump need to add ink stirring bar. The pump receiver needs to reach almost the bottom of the ink tank in order to absorb heavier substances and have maximum thrust at the end of the stroke.
