Flexo Printers - Printers in rolls

Main content

    Inflexo technology concept:

Flexo printing is a technique of printing the printing elements (images, letters ...) on the printing plate which are higher than the non-printing elements, especially the images on the printing plate must be opposite the anilox axis. the ink supply task then passes the printing press that transfers the ink directly onto the media.
Using inflexo technology will have the following advantages:
    - Very good ink adhesion. Ink dries very quickly and does not smudge or smudge.
    - Can print on all different materials
Because the ink dries quickly, flexographic printing is used in continuous roll printing. From there to help increase printing capacity.
Surface flexographic printing allows printing on both sides, and can be printed on heavier surfaces such as corrugated sheets.
    - The ink can be transferred evenly thanks to the high quality of the Anilox shaft.
    - The printing mold is cheaper than a gravure printing axis.
The configuration of the ink supply unit is also very simple, so it is easy to adjust the ink while the machine is operating.
Thanks to the above advantages, the inflexo method is widely used in the fields of printing labels, rolls, sheets ...

    Principle of operation inflexo

When printing with flexo printing technique, it must be based on the operating principle of direct anilox. The anilox is an engraved surface metal shaft with many small cells through which the ink is fed to the mold easily. When the shaft is partially immersed in the ink tray, the ink in small cells on the surface of the shaft going into the ink on the surface is wiped away with the ink spreader.
The printing mold (usually made of photopolymer resin, photochemical print, CTP-directly from a computer or laser etching) will contact the shaft and receive ink from the cells on the surface of the printing shaft and then transmit it. The media, pictures or letters will all be embossed on the printed media quickly and in the opposite direction with the images on the printing side.
